Hi Everyone! Long Time No See!

Hey everyone, y'all probably thought I had dropped off the face of the planet lol. Well, I'm here to tell you I didn't. Although, losing Grandma kind of threw me for a loop religiously. I have an announcement and some of you guys might decide you don't like me anymore and that's okay if that's how you feel, you'll get no judgments from me.

So, drum roll please... I don't think I'm pagan anymore. To be 100% honest, I'm not sure what religion I am but I'm reading the bible again, and trying to relearn things from Granddad's perspective and God's perspective. Now, this is not to say that I don't still believe in magick or any of those things, it just means that I'm trying to figure things out. Losing Grandma shook me to my core and I am relearning everything. Here lately, every day has been a learning experience. I'm learning how to live again and how to be me.

Now with that being said, I also want to say that this definitely does not mean that I am turning my back on my pagan friends. You guys are all awesome! I still consider y'all friends and don't let anyone convince you otherwise! The only thing changing will be the name of this blog. I need some suggestions on names, so y'all leave me comments alright! I'll also come up with some blog names of my own. I'll narrow it down to just a few and in a couple of days I'll set up a spot for you guys to vote on your favorite one. In the meantime, I have a new book review for you!

I was surprised when I was contacted by another person to do a book review for them because I felt like the review I did for Psychic by Sylvia Browne wasn't all that good, but yet again someone wants me to talk about two new books. The second new book was just received today, so that review will take some time for me to do, but the first one will be up in a day or so.

I'm so glad to be back with you guys again! I've missed y'all. I now have internet at my house, I'm working as a waitress here in town, and am looking at a shift leader position. I am renting a place in town, and will be talking to my landlady in a couple of months about doing rent to own. Things are different but not in a terrible way. I'm taking 9 credit hours in school this semester and am excited for classes to start. Things seem to be looking up!

Book Review: Psychic by Sylvia Browne

Before the semester ended I received an email from a woman named Trish Collins asking if I would be interested in reviewing Sylvia Browne's new book and I have to be honest at first I was very afraid it was a scam, but once the book arrived I was so thrilled! I'm a huge Sylvia Browne fan so this opportunity was amazing. Anyway, this post is supposed to be my book review so let me get to that lol.

First I want to say this is the first official book review ever done here so I apologize if it's not as professional as other book reviews. Second I have to say this book could not have come at a better time. I was hooked from page one. Sylvia's writing style is light, informal, and refreshing; quite like Sylvia is when she would do appearances on the Montel show. Psychic is a book all about Sylvia's life, from childhood until now. At 73 she's still going strong.

From front to back there was not one thing that I couldn't personally relate to minus being psychic of course. This is a very healing and uplifting book. It is my firm belief that anyone of any faith can enjoy this book. Apart from a religious point, a person must not be living life if they can't find something to interest them or something to relate to in this book.

This book found me at a time when I really needed healing and I got it from this book. In my opinion every person who is capable of reading should go out and buy this book. You won't regret it I promise. Even if you have no clue who Sylvia Browne is go buy her new book Psychic. You'll get to know Sylvia and might even learn something about yourself in its pages.

I'm Still Here

I'm sorry I disappeared again. I have another post ready to be put up on my computer but things have been busy and I haven't had time to make it to the library. I would just use my blackberry to post it like I do with these but I don't get cell service at the ranch and our small town doesn't have any wifi spots. But I promise I will get to the library asap and post fresh stuff. I need to do some housekeeping on the blog as well because we'll be having visitors June 9th.

Anyway, things are okay with me and Granddad. Granddad is smiling more and I'm learning to reach out to friends rather than push them away. I have a friend in town that I went to junior high with, named Miss J, that lost her mama a year ago to cancer and I've been spending a lot of time with her. Sometimes we talk about my grandma and her mom but usually we talk about old times or the town gossip and just being around someone who has been there is very healing and helpful.

I do have one concern that I want to ask you guys about. I've been having this nightmare every night since Gram was buried. In it Gram is skeletal and has hands like claws. She's chasing me around the house to attack me and claw my throat out. It scares me enough that I have a hard time walking through the house in the dark, my overactive imagination conjures images of Gram hiding in the dark waiting for me and I have to turn the lights on. Now what bothers me the most and truly hurts me is that I know Gram would never ever do that and telling myself that and knowing it in my heart doesn't make the nightmare go away. Miss J says its part of the grieving process, but since I've not been there before I wouldn't know. If any of you have any advice please let me know what you think.
